NAMC Programming

The Northeast Advanced Manufacturing Consortium (NAMC) responds to the needs and demands of the advanced manufacturers in Northeast Massachusetts.  NAMC works to develop the regional workforce pipeline that will provide the skilled employees necessary for advanced manufacturing to remain globally competitive, long into the future. To this end, the consortium leverages a wealth of local, state, and federal resources, which include:

Registered Apprenticeships

NAMC partners with companies to provide up to $5,000 per apprentice to train new hires or existing workers into registered apprenticeship training programs.

Access to Talented Labor Force

NAMC continuously runs training programs with our community college and vocational & technical high school partners in electronic technology, machining, welding, quality control, and automation technician. The programs have been vetted by an advisory board of Northeast manufacturers to ensure that the skills learned are applicable to today’s workplace.
